The opening show of the short West Coast tour, totally kicked butt! All members played exceptionally well! There were even dancing girls (myself included.) They did all the favs including Cruise Control and Odyssey, with the wonderful surprise of I'm Freaking Out, which one doesn't hear live too often. I must say, being one who has seen them more than 30 odd times, this was really one of the tightest shows. I must also mention the opening band Extrattoshere(sic?) a mostly all instrumental tune band. The had an interesting way of combining middle eastern with country. All were excellent musicians who finished with a piece that included acapella 4part harmonies. If I was in the A&R biz, I'd scoop these guys up. Time to catch a Greyhound to San Francisco for another shot of ecstasy!
