The Dregs blew me away as always! I ran to the front of the stage minutes before take off, this way I could watch Steve burn like usual. I found myself directly underneath T's rig. Steve was still in my sights as they fired up the first tune. I must say, the volume that night was pumping, the sound guy had Steve cranked, which isn't a bad thing, its just that I have heard Steve at lower volumes before and enjoyed that a bit more. The 4 new tunes were great, especially T's. You can find that song on the disc he did with the guy from Dream Theater. Cat Food sounded exceptionally great! There is a guitar run that is so nuts that interweaves thoughout the song that Steve nailed like it was nothing, absolutely amazing.  Dave looks like he has been relaxing a bit more than last tour, maybe he stopped running as much as he used to. Rod's drum solo was as impressive as always. If you want to hear Rod burn, listen to "Platypus",  "When Puss Comes to Shove", it features Ty from King's X, and the bass player from Dream Theater, great album. Well, can't wait for the new SMB album in March and the new DVD of Steve that is supposed to be coming out soon. Till next time, keep burning....
