I've been fortunate to be able to see The Dregs, or Steve Morse Band, back at The Golden Bear in Huntington Beach up to now at The Coach House. I think, "Maybe this will be the time it start's to get old and worn", but the band continues to get hotter, tighter, and possibly louder? I was sitting right by Dave's monitor, possibly missing the house mix and only getting stage volume, and not having ear protection (yeah, I know) it was friggin' loud. I hope Dave or Jerry were'nt offended by my friends 12 year old son who was trying to stay awake. If the hours of traveling, the NAMM show, and who know's what else goes on, were taking it's toll on the guy's, it didn't show at all. They gave it up completely. The only thing I missed was Steve doing his usual acoustic number. The real treat for me was taking two friends who had never heard them before and watching their expressions. Also, I agree with the previous letter re FWAP. Hilary Jones was awesome. And Agent 22 was nothing to shake a "stick" at. They were very enjoyable.
