This could be one of the most perfectly executed mega-fantastic live shows I've EVER seen! These guys were so tight it was mind bending. As a professional guitar player I found myself hoping and praying for somekind of screwup by Steve, just to be sure he was HUMAN...he never missed a note...just fucking remarkable...sooo much intense music, harmonically and rythmically to even be contained in one mans mind for an evening of music. I've come to the conclusion that Steve and the rest of the band must be:

A. The Spawn of Satan
B. From a planet other than Earth
C. Monsterous musical perfectionist in every aspect of their Art form
D. Robots

Wow, I needed that show soooo bad, a million thanks guys (however you say it in your alien language...or ..hail satan...Ha!)

A near perfect day. My band mates and I were fortunate to attend the clinic held at Discount Music (thanks guys!) a few hours prior to the show at The Depot. The clinic was fantastic. Both Stave and Dave were very nice and accommodating (and funny!). Both gave great information, as well as staying after and chatting, signing autographs and posing for pictures. Classy guys. When it we arrived at The Depot, I was very pleased to see both Van and Rod’s drums set up next to each other, rather than facing each other as they had done on the tiny Zephyr stage. The SMB set was astounding. So tight and locked in. I marvel every time I see them. The Dregs were amazing. Everything sounded great. The encore is not to be missed! What a show! A big thank you to Steve and the guys for helping SLC warm up on a freaking freezing night! Like I said, a near perfect day.

Wow! What a show. Great venue and nothing short of a spectacular experience. This was my fifth time seeing them over the years and each time has been amazing. The vibe was right on, the playing phenomenal and thanks to Rod and TJ, I even got the chance to have Steve sign the headstock of my guitar as a constant reminder to not settle for "good", but to always go for "great".

Thanks to Steve and the rest of the guys for making it to Salt Lake City and I hope to see them again soon.

This would be the 5th time I’ve seen Steve Morse and Co. I can say that you guys just keep getting better with age. The sound was a little muddy at first at the SLC “Depot” but got better as the show progressed. I loved the double drum format and of course Mr. Goodman is always a pleasure to watch rip along with the band. My review is a simple OUTSTANDING- you guys are all great musicians that compliment each other- please return here soon.

My pre show experiece started out with a Guitar\Bass clinic with Steve and Dave at Discount Music, starting about 3:00pm and ended with a signing\meet at the end that went past 4:30pm, Steve and Dave were as funny as ever, they played 3 songs and answered a lot of questions from gear to recording. Show at the Depot was at 8, found out at the clinic it was a two fer Steve Morse Band\Dixie Dregs. This is the second time I have seen the two bands together once several years before at the old Zepher Club downtown SLC. The Depot show was excellent, the whole band was on fire, this was my first show at the Depot. I have seen Dregs and Steve Morse Band many times at the Zepher and this was a much better venue to see them at, the sound was amzing. I hope they stop back by on there way home and give SLC another show.
