I recently bought a Marshall 25/50 50watt combo. I know steve uses a 100 watt Jubilee. I wonder how he uses the input gain setting. You can pull it out and make the clean channel distorted but when you do the lead channel losses some bass. I was wondering how he maximizes the sound of the lead channel relative to the clean channel. The lead channel sounds better with the clean channel gain not pulled out, and dialed in about 7. Then how does he boost the lead?
