Good question. I'm thinking maybe some of what's being distorted up high potentially get's lost on the low end.
Then again (for laughs), I may just go out on a limb, make a rediculous comment and suffer the consequences. Y'know, like for starters he's, ummm, using a Jubilee 100.
Seriously; sounds like an Eric Johnson question. Maybe you need a preamp to split the signal between two cabinets, clean and distorted.
