When I first bought my Marshall Jubilee head, I search everywhere for info on Steve's rig. I found some in an old guitar magazine and on one of his instructional videos. Most people, as well as Steve do not use the clipping diode of the clean channel. It has a harsher sound and not as much gain. Steve uses the distortion channel for dist. and the clean for clean. He very rarely uses the tc booster and in his video he says he usually uses it only when the guitar has no band backing it, like the intro for Tumeni notes.. Hi settings on the Jubilee... Bass 8-9 Mid 10 Treble 8-9 gain 8-10 presence 8-10 and I'm sure the master vol is at least 7, to get that power amp thickness. Part of the key to what is concsidered his sound is the way he uses delays feeding a seperate amp. You can read my earlier post for that.
